Get Him to the Greek! Hand Painted Lampshade with Farrow and Ball Paint. Inspired by the Greek Theater here in Los Feliz, Los Angeles.

$200.00

Hand-painted linen lampshade using Farrow and Ball paint. "Get Him to the Greek" design is inspired by the traffic that builds up on Vermont when there is a concert at The Greek Theater; a fantastic outdoor venue here in my neighborhood of Los Feliz, Los Angeles.

This shade has an UNO fitting which is more and more common - They have an inner ring that slips over the socket and are held in place by the bulb. See photos for help.

If you like the black basic lamp base in the photos, I am happy to include that for you for an additional $15.00. Its simple and works well with the shade. I have two of these, as you see in the photos so if you would like both, message me and we'l make a deal! The feel like a pair but one includes blue paint and the other is just the reddish and dark purple color.

Add a touch of art and life to your home with this custom one of a kind lampshade, designed and hand painted in our studio in Los Angeles. Farrow and Ball paint is best in class in terms of color and beauty and is non odorous and water based and safe for our homes, families and environments.

I have always loved lights and lamps and collected them for years. I found that I was drawn to mid century Italian plastic designs of Joe Colombo and Gae Aulenti as they offered beautiful glowing art pieces. I wondered, if there was a way to bring such craft and beauty to the more common fabric lampshade. As a painter and new home owner I became ensconced in the world of interior design and noticed how a beautiful lampshade could transform a light source and a room. So, I started to experiment with different materials. After painting my home with Farrow and Ball interior paint I started to wonder how I might bring this incredible pigment and tone into lighting and started to experiment.

I hope you enjoy this little fella!
